CIALIS^® 5 mg film-coated tablets

active ingredient: tadalafil

CIALIS contains the active ingredient tadalafil, categorized under phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

Indications for CIALIS 5 mg include treatment for adult males experiencing:

• Erectile dysfunction: The inability to achieve or maintain an erection conducive to sexual activity. CIALIS has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing the ability to attain a suitable erection for sexual engagement. It aids in the relaxation of blood vessels in the penis, promoting blood flow and subsequently improving erectile functionality. Take note, CIALIS requires sexual stimulation for effectiveness.
• Urinary symptoms related to benign prostatic hyperplasia: Enlargement of the prostate gland due to aging can lead to difficulties with urination, sensations of incomplete bladder emptying, and frequent urination, particularly during the night. By enhancing blood circulation and relaxing the prostate and bladder muscles, CIALIS alleviates these symptoms.

Do not take CIALIS if you:

• exhibit allergies to tadalafil or any of the components of this medication.
• are under any form of organic nitrates or nitric oxide donors.
• have severe heart conditions or a history of heart attack within the past 90 days.
• have had a stroke within the past 6 months.
• experience uncontrolled low or high blood pressure.

Consult your doctor prior to taking CIALIS if you have:

• sickle cell anemia
• multiple myeloma or leukemia
• any penile deformities
• serious liver or kidney issues

Additionally, sexual activity may increase the workload on your heart. Discuss any heart issues with your doctor.

Notify your physician if you are currently taking, have recently taken, or plan to take any other medications, including:

• alpha blockers
• other medications for hypertension
• riociguat
• antifungal or HIV medications

Refrain from excessive alcohol consumption as it may impair your ability to achieve an erection.

The recommended dosage is one 5 mg tablet taken daily around the same time each day. Your healthcare provider may modify your dose according to your individual response.

Swallow CIALIS tablets whole with water; it can be ingested with or without meals.

Do not exceed a daily intake of CIALIS.

Like all medications, CIALIS can have side effects. The most frequently reported are:

• headaches
• back pain
• muscle soreness
• flushing
• indigestion

Seek immediate medical attention for severe adverse reactions, such as prolonged erections (priapism) or sudden vision loss.

Ensure CIALIS is stored out of reach of children. Keep it in its original packaging to guard against moisture and do not store above 25°C.

Do not use this medicine beyond the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
