CIALIS contains tadalafil, which is classified as a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor.
CIALIS 5 mg is prescribed for adult men dealing with:
- Erectile Dysfunction - This condition affects the ability to achieve or sustain an erection suitable for sexual activities, and CIALIS works by improving blood circulation to the penis when sexually stimulated.
- Urinary Symptoms Linked to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) - This condition arises from prostate enlargement due to aging, resulting in urinary difficulties. CIALIS helps ease these symptoms by enhancing blood flow and relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder.
Before consuming CIALIS, notify your doctor if you:
- Have a known allergy to tadalafil or any other components in CIALIS.
- Are currently taking nitrates for heart issues.
- Have pre-existing serious heart conditions, or a history of heart attack or stroke.
- Suffer from either low blood pressure or uncontrolled hypertension.
- Have experienced vision loss due to NAION or are using riociguat.
- Have medical conditions such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia.
Be aware that engaging in sexual activity can add extra stress on the heart. Discuss your health status with a healthcare professional if you have heart-related issues.
