ADCIRCA Co-Pay Assistance Card
For patients who possess commercial or private insurance plans, we are pleased to offer a co-pay assistance card designed to help cover a portion of your out-of-pocket expenses. This program aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with your medication.
Most eligible patients with commercial or private insurance plans might only need to pay as little as a $0 co-pay for each prescription of ADCIRCA, with a monthly benefit limit set at $800. This assistance can significantly reduce the cost for those in need.

*It is essential for patients to meet certain eligibility criteria to qualify for assistance. Those receiving reimbursement under Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DoD (TRICARE), Indian Health Services, or similar federal or state programs may not be eligible for some forms of assistance. Important Safety Considerations for ADCIRCA® (tadalafil)
- It is crucial to discuss all of your medical conditions and every medication you are currently taking with your healthcare provider before initiating treatment with ADCIRCA.
- Do not take ADCIRCA if you are using any medications that contain nitrates, which are often prescribed for chest pain, or guanylate cyclase stimulators, as this combination could lead to a sudden and unsafe drop in blood pressure.
- Avoid taking ADCIRCA if you have a known allergy to tadalafil or any other ingredient present in ADCIRCA's formulation.
- ADCIRCA is categorized as a phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (PDE-5i) that facilitates the widening of blood vessels, potentially resulting in decreased blood pressure. If you have a history of heart disease or issues with low blood pressure, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider prior to using ADCIRCA, as these conditions may be adversely affected.
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, discuss these considerations with your healthcare provider before taking ADCIRCA.
- If you have experienced blockage in the veins of your lungs, referred to as pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD), it is advised that you do not use ADCIRCA.
- Combining ADCIRCA with alcohol or specific blood pressure medications such as alpha-blockers may lead to lowered blood pressure, causing hypotension symptoms like light-headedness or fainting.
- Avoid taking ADCIRCA if you are currently on rifampin (an antibiotic for certain bacterial infections) or antifungal medications such as ketoconazole and itraconazole. If you need to use ADCIRCA alongside ritonavir (Norvir®), your dose of ADCIRCA will require adjustment. Inform your healthcare provider about any kidney or liver problems you may have before starting ADCIRCA.
- Be aware that ADCIRCA contains the same active ingredient (tadalafil) as Cialis®, which is used to address erectile dysfunction (ED, impotence) and the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, enlarged prostate). If you are on ADCIRCA, do not take Cialis or any other PDE-5 inhibitors.
- In rare circumstances, some patients have reported side effects like decreased eyesight or loss of vision in one or both eyes (NAION), or sudden hearing loss, sometimes accompanied by ringing in the ears and dizziness. Should you experience any of these adverse effects after taking ADCIRCA, seek immediate medical attention.
- In uncommon instances, men using PDE-5 inhibitors (including tadalafil) for erectile dysfunction have reported side effects such as an erection lasting over four hours. In the event of a prolonged erection, seek prompt medical assistance.
- The most frequently reported side effects of ADCIRCA include headache, muscle pain, facial flushing, nausea, discomfort in the arms, legs, or back, upset stomach, and nasal congestion.
